Being Holy at Ilocos : Holy Week 2016

Its summer and my Sisters in Liver are out for fun! We’ve been to Batangas, Tagaytay, Baguio and Palawan. Our next destination…. ILOCOS!!

One of my gals was born and raised at Isabel and they have very close relatives at Ilocos so we decided to pay a visit.

Along with the cutie babies of hers (her pups which she considered as her children) we travel towards north.

Being our only driver, no reliever at all I really salute her for this!

Heavy traffic was expected because its Holy Week and most of the people in the cities are travelling to their provinces.

It was a long ride. We left the city at around 3pm and arrived at Ilocos Norte at around 2pm. Almost 12 hours of land travel.

Mimi’s family was there to welcome us with a sumptuous lunch! We were all hungry and tired!
We rested a bit and off we go to experience the life in the province!

First stop was at the lake where we had our dinner. The water is clear yet too cold but we enjoyed our night swimming. Of course, night wouldn’t be complete without a drinking session!

Second Day!

We went to…

FORT ILOCANDIA

PAOAY CHURCH

BANGUI WINDMILLS

and

PAGUDPUD

Third Day!

Off we go to Vigan to buy pasalubong and do a little shopping.

We would like to thank the family of Ms Mimi Laciste for the warm welcome. So much generosity and they were very much hospitable to us.

Sadly but we need to go back to Manila. In will truly miss the life at the province but most of all the people we’ve been during this short vacation

Till our next travel..

I will be posting blog with our Baguio, Batangas and Palawan Travel soon.

What are Sister - in - Liver?

Many of us are aware what Sister-in-Law means.

Sister - in - Law : the wife of ones brother or brother - in - law

In Filipino, we call them Hipag

But I have this group of gals whom I call my SISTER in LIVER

They are almost present on my photos and most of my tags.

Sister in Liver are my group of girl friends whom I often join during drinking session.

We met at my previous work and we often go to places to drink. But keep calm because we don't get into trouble (hmmmm most of the time :p )

We've been to different bars and out of towns but our favorite place to bond is at Roxas Blvd and we call it SCHOOL.

Why SCHOOL? Because there is this one moment on our life that almost every other day we tend to go to that certain place and drink MODERATELY. And it's like attending classes that no one should be absent nor late.

Now that we have different careers, one of us works at a hospital, the other one is a hotelier, one is still with our previous job, a travel system distributor and me I work as a Brand Sales Manager supplying hotels and restaurants, sadly we have less time to bond and go to "school". But we make sure to set a schedule for us to meet once in a while. And the last time was for the celebration of my birthday!

Happy 24th Birthday to me!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

It's my 24th birthday! 24 years of enjoying life, living a life of a MAARTE but MABUTING TAO.

I celebrated my 24th birthday with a lot of group of people.

First Celebration is with my man, Dawn Mark Alonzo.

We had a simple dinner at Sambo Kojin Buffet Restaurant. Since it's our favorite buffet, we always make sure ti dine there during our birthdays and anniversary.

2nd celebration was with my Titas... Another buffet!!! This time, we ate at Dads World Buffet Restaurant! I guess they are sister company of Sambo Kojin!

Just a simple yet delicious cake from my titas.

3rd celebration was with my Sister In Liver. Drinking and Karaoke session at Roxas Blvd.

Next was with my college Bebes.. We ate at Charaptor Buffet Restaurant located at Mall of Asia Seaside.

* who says I love buffets??? I am not guilty and no one can testify to that!! hahahahaha *

I still have one more celebration, though it's already August, we are still planning to have drinking session with my high school classmates.
